ABOUT US

Established in 1963 formally known as The Gospel Association of America, The church of God incorporated (aka The Gospel Church of God) the ministry began under the late Bishop C. W. Cotton. Our ministry was founded on God's word and signs of his presence and power. In the year of 1976 Ronald T. Fisher joined this ministry and became the assistant to the late Bishop Cotton. After serving in the ministry for 14 years  Elder Fisher was installed pastor.

Through the ministry of Pastor Fisher he has continued and expanded with an emphases on outreach, financial stewardship, marriage and family enrichment. In 2012 Pastor Fisher was consecrated to the office of Bishop. From 1990 to the present Bishop Fisher has continued to proclaim God's transforming word of hope and faith.

There are periods in history where ministries experience and epiphany that God is bringing new direction to his people. After 54 years that change has come in the changing of our name.  Faith Life Church believes God intends for everyone to experience abundant life and that life can only be realized through a life of faith in him.

Wherever you may be on your spiritual path, at the Faith Life Church you will find a supportive community with a wealth of opportunities for personal growth.

We aspire to strengthen each person's confidence and joy in Jesus Christ  at every point in their lives, and encourage personal and spiritual growth through prayer, Bible study and active service in our church and community. Come and be about that Life! There is room for you and your family to become a part of ours.

BELIEF STATEMENT

“The Bible, the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God without error in the original writings, and are the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.”

GOD

There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three
manifestations: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and
born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, the complete and final sacrifice for our
sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into
heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and
Advocate.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age, to
convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and
empower the believer for godly living and service.

SALVATION

Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only
through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for
justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ by
faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God. The Imminent Return
of Jesus Christ is our hope and has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of
the believer.

END TIMES

There will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead; of the believer to everlasting
blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting
conscious punishment.

THE CHURCH

The true Church is composed of all such persons, who through saving faith in Jesus
Christ, has been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of
Christ of which He is the head.

BAPTISM AND COMMUNION

Water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior, is a
testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life. The Lord’s Supper is a
memorial service setting forth in sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord
Jesus Christ; all true believers and only believers should share in it.
