All of Bishop Fisher’s entire life he has been shaped and influenced by the Christian faith. He began at home and at the Robinson AME Church in Grasonville, Maryland where he attended regularly. His parents either brought him to church or sent him. As far as he could remember he was always drawn to God, singing gospel music, and church.
As a family, Bishop Fisher’s father always had him and his siblings singing gospel songs at home and in church. Bishop also sang as a family in churches, around the neighborhood streets, and in people’s homes. He sung in the church choir until he was a teenager. One day in choir rehearsal, he got mad over something and he quit the choir.
One day an invitation was given to him to go to church in Dominion, Maryland and that is where he accepted Jesus Christ into his life as Saviour and Lord. This started a new beginning for him.
In January 1974, at the age of 17, Ronald accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior under Rev. Levi Anderson in Dominion, Md. Quickly he began witnessing to others about how Jesus changed his life everywhere he went. Ronald would go from house to house and would do group outreach. He would carry a sign that said, “Jesus is the answer for the world today”. This became a weekly outreach for Ronald.
His pastor, Revered Levi Anderson would call on him to witness. Ronald had a hunger and zeal for the word of God. He would study for hours, fasting and praying. He often stayed in a tent in the woods behind his mother’s house studying the word of God. Reverend Levi Anderson quickly saw the anointing on him and begun to allow him to exhort in church which was part of his training ground. This gave him the opportunity to evangelize in the area churches and in the State of Delaware.
In May 1975, he received his formal license to evangelize and became his Pastor’s assistant. Ronald began his Christian service in Street Ministry, home and hospital visitations. He would hitch hike to church and to the hospital that was 30 miles away.
In his Christian walk with God, he associated with people that were headed in the same direction. At this time, he had saved friends from Emanuel Pentecostal Church in Camden, Delaware where Bishop Joseph Cooper was the pastor. At one of these services, Bishop C. W. Cotton and Gospel Church of God was the honored guest. It
was there that Elder Arnold and Mother Elsie Jeffers invited him to be their guest speaker at Jeffer’s Day service in Chestertown, Maryland.
After the church in Dominion, MD dissolved in 1976, He decided to join The Gospel Church of God under the leadership of Bishop C. W. Cotton. He served under leadership in the capacities of the Assistant Pastor and Elder for sixteen years. Following the death of the late Bishop C.W. Cotton, he was installed as the Pastor of the Gospel Church of God in 1990, currently named Faith Life Church and has remained faithful to this charge ever since.

There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three
manifestations: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and
born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, the complete and final sacrifice for our
sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into
heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and
Advocate.
The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and during this age, to
convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and
empower the believer for godly living and service.
Man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only
through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.
The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for
justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ by
faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God. The Imminent Return
of Jesus Christ is our hope and has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of
the believer.
There will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead; of the believer to everlasting
blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting
conscious punishment.
The true Church is composed of all such persons, who through saving faith in Jesus
Christ, has been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of
Christ of which He is the head.
Water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior, is a
testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life. The Lord’s Supper is a
memorial service setting forth in sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord
Jesus Christ; all true believers and only believers should share in it.
